Trade and self-build both welcome. DXF, STEP, PDF or a photo of a sketch — we quote from all of them inside two working days.
1. Scope. These terms apply to all quotations, orders and deliveries by Staalwerk Rotterdam B.V. unless varied in writing.
2. Quotations. Quotations are valid for 30 days. Material surcharges may be applied where the European steel index moves more than 5% between quotation and order.
3. Payment. Net 30 days for approved trade accounts. Private customers pay 50% on order and the balance before collection or dispatch.
4. Title. Title passes on full payment. Risk passes on delivery or collection.
Cover. Fabrication and welding are warranted against defective workmanship for 24 months from delivery.
Coatings. Hot-dip galvanising is warranted by the finisher, typically 15 years in inland atmospheric conditions. Powder coating carries a 10-year colour and adhesion warranty when applied over galvanising.
Exclusions. Mechanical damage, unauthorised modification, and corrosion arising from site cutting or drilling that has not been re-protected.
Certification. Staalwerk holds VCA two-star certification. All site operatives carry VCA Basisveiligheid at minimum, and supervisors hold VOL-VCA.
Hot work. We issue our own hot-work permits and provide fire watch as standard on site welding. Client permit systems take precedence where they exist.
Insurance. 5,000,000 EUR public and products liability. Certificate available on request.
