Before you commission

How do I get on the list?

Email bex@bexlarkin.co.uk with what you need, when you need it, and where it will be published. If the quarter is full I’ll offer you the next one rather than rushing yours.

What am I actually buying?

A licence, not the copyright. Editorial rates cover one edition in one territory for a year; anything wider I quote separately. Originals are sold outright, but I keep reproduction rights.

Do you work from AI reference or generated roughs?

No. Everything starts as pencil on paper, and I am happy to show you the sketchbook pages to prove it.

Do you take rush jobs?

Sometimes, at +40%. A newspaper spot in 48 hours is doable. A picture book in a fortnight is not.
