The hall has been run by a volunteer committee of nine residents since 1978. It is available to any Wattle Grove resident or community group, and to outside hirers when the calendar allows. This page is the official record of hire terms, hours and committee notices — if something here contradicts a flyer on the noticeboard, this page wins.
Main hall $28 per hour for residents and local not-for-profits, $45 per hour otherwise. Small room $15 per hour flat. Kitchen access adds $20 per booking. A $200 refundable bond applies to any booking involving alcohol or amplified music, refunded within five working days of a clean hand-back.
We would rather the hall was busy and a bit scuffed than spotless and empty. Book it.

The hall itself is open whenever it is booked. These are the hours a committee member is actually in the office to take a payment or hand over a key.
Hire enquiries, noticeboard requests and anything else. One of us answers within two working days — faster if you say what date you are after.
The full hire agreement signed by every hirer. Covers the fee schedule, the $200 bond, cancellation windows, noise limits under the City of Kalamunda policy, cleaning standards and the insurance threshold for commercial events. Superseded versions are held in the office folder and are available on request.

We keep hirer names, contact details and booking dates for seven years to satisfy our insurer and our auditor. We do not share them with anyone else, and we do not use them for anything except your booking. Ask at hall@wattlegrovehall.org.au and we will tell you exactly what we hold on you, or delete it once the retention period has passed.
