For a kiosk, no — nine of our kiosk owners came from retail or logistics. For a café or drive-through we want either prior food-service management or a nominated manager who has it, because the food menu and the licensed trade both carry compliance you cannot delegate to a manual.
Banks generally lend 50–60% against a Morrow & Co. format, so plan on A$70k unencumbered for a kiosk and A$180k for a café, plus three months of working capital. We will introduce you to two lenders who already know the model.
You can propose one, and we assess it on catchment, morning traffic direction and lease terms. About a third of proposed sites pass. We also bring pre-approved sites to franchisees already in the network first.
Beans, syrups and packaging come from us at cost plus freight. Milk, food and consumables you buy locally against our spec — most franchisees beat our national dairy rate anyway.
Tell us where you want to trade and what you already run. Applications are read by our development lead, not a call centre.
