Ines Bellweather

Piano & music theory — beginners to conservatory prep

Fifteen years of teaching out of a converted garage studio on SE Clinton. Two students a year go on to a music degree; the rest just keep playing, which I count as the bigger win.

From students and parents

“Our daughter practises without being asked now. I genuinely did not think that was a thing that happened.”
Marisol Ocampo · Parent, third year
“I came back to piano at 41 after twenty years away. Ines started me on Debussy in month four and never once made me feel behind.”
Wes T. · Adult student
“The mock jury was harder than the real one. That was the point.”
Devon Aluko · Now studying at Oberlin
